GCom 64K and 128K ISDN Plans - Simultaneous Voice and Data

By converting an existing telephone line to an ISDN connection, GCom Internet clients can be connected to the internet from most places in Australia via a high quality digital circuit, while still being able to make and receive voice and fax calls.

A typical Telstra ISDN conversion provides two digital channels each capable of connecting to the internet at 64Kb/Sec. Either one channel can be used for a high quality connection to GCom Internet while the other is reserved for outgoing and incoming voice and fax calls, or both channels can be used simultaneously for a 128Kb/Sec high speed connection.

To upgrade your existing line to ISDN, you need to call Telstra on 1800 BUSINESS (1800 287 463) to place an order for their ISDN service. Telstra will charge you an initial connection fee and ongoing ISDN service and data fees separate to our own charges.

It is the end user's responsibility to investigate and keep up to date with all applicable fees charged by Telstra for ISDN services.


Conditions of Use

  1. All accounts operate on a strictly prepaid basis.
  2. GCom mailboxes must be emptied at least once per session.
  3. At the expiration of prepaid time credits, accounts will be disabled.
  4. MaxiPlan accounts may not be shared between multiple dialup locations.
  5. Up to date anti-virus software must be installed on all user systems.
  6. A $22.00 fee will be applied for a change of user name.
  7. GCom Internet maintains a zero tolerance spam/UCE policy.
  8. A minimum 5 hour charge applies to HourSaver accounts in any month where GCom email is accessed via an external ISP.
  9. HourSaver accounts with no calls for 6 months, but with GCom email being accessed via an external ISP, will be terminated.
  10. Use of GCom Internet is conditional upon acceptance of our Terms of Service.
